Where to Get the Ski Bus to take you to Salt Lake's Ski Resorts?
The UTA, Utah Transit Authority, started full ski bus service to Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude ski resorts on Dec. 16th ...
View Schedules.
Be advised, after a fresh dumping of powder, a beautiful sunny day, a holiday, spring-break, etc., expect crowded buses and the possibility of longer than usual wait times.
The Ski Day Pass is valid for unlimited travel on ski buses and TRAX. The cost is $7.00 for a round-trip pass.
If you do stay with us, you can take UTA ski bus at 7200 south (Midvale) to take you to any of the Cottonwood Canyon resorts. Pay close attention to bus schedules associated with going up and down the canyon. This is a great way to get to our resorts, and it is very affordable. Plus, the Trax cars and buses are remarkably clean. The ski buses have different daily weekday and weekend
schedules
. They start at 6:50 a.m., stop around the city and at 10 different hotels. Plan for a little over an hour total travel time. The only drawback: On Sunday, TRAX doesn't run from downtown until after 10 a.m. If you want to get to the resorts early, you can call a cab (about $25 one way; still cheaper than renting a car) to take you to the ski bus stop at 7200 south. Park-and-ride's at both o
f the canyon's mouths (Big & Little Cottonwood
Canyons) to the resorts are also a convenient way to get up to the resorts.
